Oilers Hope for a Miracle in Game 6
Florida Panthers Lead 3-2 in Stanley Cup Finals
Game 6 Set for Rogers Place on Saturday
The Edmonton Oilers will try and force a Game 7 against the Florida Panthers in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night at Rogers Place. The Panthers currently lead the series 3-2 and can clinch the championship with a win in Edmonton.
The Oilers have shown resilience throughout the playoffs, coming back from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Calgary Flames in the second round. They also rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win Game 4 of the series against the Panthers.
However, the Panthers have been the better team for most of the series. They have a high-powered offense led by Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau, and their defense has been stingy. The Oilers will need to find a way to generate more scoring chances and limit the Panthers' chances if they want to win Game 6.
The game will be televised on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
