Rivian Accelerates EV Production in 2023
Production and Delivery Soar
Rivian Automotive has announced impressive production and delivery figures for 2023. Last year, the company produced 57,232 electric vehicles (EVs) and delivered 50,122 units. This marks a significant increase compared to 2022, when Rivian produced 24,337 EVs and delivered 20,332 units, up from a mere 1,015 in 2021.
Legacy Automakers Embrace Rivian
Rivian's success has caught the attention of legacy automakers. Volkswagen has recently become the second such company to take a stake in the California-based firm, following Ford Motor's earlier investment. This investment underscores Rivian's rising prominence in the burgeoning EV market.
